Route 66 Tour
Have you ever dreamed of riding the Historic Mother Road or better known as Old Route 66? Do you have 15 days to experience what is one of the original highways within the United States, would you go for it? The original highway starting at the shore of Lake Michigan. From there it runs thru Chicago, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona before ending at the Pacific Ocean in Santa Monica, California cover 2,448 miles. That’s not the number of miles any more, the hustle and bustle of the world has over run a lot of the original highway. That is what makes the tour so exciting, you get to step back in time to a slower quieter time. Some of the towns have been lucky enough to survive and have barely changed since they poured the first concrete. Okay they more resemble the 1950’s not the 1920’s but the nostalgic feeling is the same. Along the way you’ll see Café’s, Dinner’s, Blue Whales, Leaning Towers, Ghost Towns, Historic Bridges, Caverns, Cross the Continental Divide, Grand Canyon, National Parks. There will also be a couple of my special roads off of Route 66, but they are definitely a must ride experience.
